The CWI is based on a large, comprehensive longitudinal dataset that has been made available for use by other scholars.  The CWI database has generated analyses of gender issues, the relationship of the CWI to state indicators, the well-being of African-American children over the past 30 years, and an examination of immigrant children and racial/ethnic inequalities.
