The Migration Policy Institute’s National Center on Immigrant Integration Policy has released a new data brief on the 25.2 million Limited English Proficient (LEP) individuals in the United States. LEPs comprise more than 9 percent of the total population in the US. The data brief incorporates maps and state-level data tables, details the LEP population’s number, share, growth, and linguistic diversity.
