New MPI Brief on Limited English Proficient Individuals
The Migration Policy Institute’s National Center on Immigrant Integration Policy has released a new data brief on the 25.2 million Limited English Proficient (LEP) individuals in the United States. LEPs comprise more than 9 percent of the total population in the US. I3 Grant for Multi-State Expansion of a PreK-3rd Approach
FCD is pleased to announce that an i3 grant will be awarded to Arthur J. Reynolds and his team at the University of Minnesota for Midwest Expansion of the Child-Parent Center Education Program, Preschool to Third Grade. The 23 highest-ranked finalists in the second Investment in Innovation (i3) competition of the U.S. Department of Education must raise matching funds from the private sector by December 9, 2011.
